My first visit to have a first-hand view of Mitsubishi's 75" LaserVue television.

Note - aside from titles and transitional inserts, this video has not been edited or altered in any way. The lighting of the room was dimmer than what appears in the video, I suspect that my camcorder (Sony HDR-CX12) automatically compensated for the lower light of the environment. This has resulted in the television's brightness being altered and colors are somewhat washed out. It actually looks better than portrayed in my video! Also I purposely shot video from an extreme angle to illustrate the viewing angle of this set. Again it is far better in person than as portrayed in the video.

  • @spencejt have there been any problems or issues with your laservue since you got it?

Any need to replace or repair anything yet? I think Laservue has the best picture and am waiting for the front projectors!

  • @Epic125e - Zero repairs or replacement - this TV is still as awesome as the day that it was purchased. Not sure Mits will make a FP Laser due to the nature of the light source (being lasers) which would not be as diffused coming out from the projector. I still love my LaserVue, and use it on a daily basis!!! Thanks for checking out my videos!

  • Does this have the problems of old ,white spots ,bulb changing ,color wheel and light engine problems ?

I've owned a toshiba 72 dlp after 4 years everything went south bulb blew replacent blew the ballast then the light engine went bad and dust built up inside the screen

When it worked it was nice

  • @snibbdibb - No bulbs to replace, and no spinning color wheel to maintain. Both light and color are provided by way of Red, Green & Blue lasers. Pure colors, little to no moving parts. My third video (check my YouTube channel), gives illustration of extreme viewing angles, with no "hot spot" (other than the overhead light reflected in the screen). The set is also fairly energy efficient, consuming just what the average 100W household incandescent light-bulb consumes!

  • can you use it from 30-40 cm in front of you? like a LCD monitor? the size of pixels doesn't bother your?

  • @maftiya I have one for few years now ... Still awesome

  • @maftiya - by "in an IMAX way", I mean that I have found that viewing 3D at a point so close as to nearly obscure peripheral vision looks pretty incredible. Direct message me your contact info if you want to keep in touch. Best of luck! Spence

  • @maftiya - My viewing distance is about 12', but views ranges 10'-13'. Distance is nearest to the post with light switches. IMHO 10' would be optimal, and 8' bordering on close (but in an IMAX way). I don't use the adapter because my BD player outputs checkerboard. I will once I upgrade my AVR to something with HDMI 1.4, so I can add 3D gaming & satellite to the mix. The new A94's don't require an adapter. The adapter is no big deal for me, as I can place it out of the way. Hope this helps.

  • Spence how far do you sit to view this tv. What do you think about 8 to 10 feet of viewing distance from this tv. I have the cash, love the tv but not sure about the distance. I will use this to watch bd movies, streaming movies from apple tv 2 and games of my ps3. My viewing angle is mostly 60 to 120 degrees. Saw this in the store but couldnt judge how it will look in a closed space environment. Also dio you still need the external 3d adaptor or did the software update from mits resolve the

  • it has color like a crttv has
