The second in my series of rants about HD, the format war, and whatever else I can think of that appeals to my inner techno-geek.

Fairly straightforward rant this time around, as I pretty much chew out the HD-DVD supporters who still cling to the idea that they were somehow "wronged" because their format of choice failed, telling them to be accountable for their own choices and stop blaming everyone/thing else.

Just a brief clarification: When I mention that I followed the Format War via amazon.com's message boards, I'm NOT saying that I used that as a "legitimate source of info," but rather as a typical example of the uninformed ranting and bashing from both sides. For my actual fact-based information on both sides, I used a variety of other sources which will be covered in another video.

I didn't even bother watching this video. I hate the way the new youtube look broadcasts every idiotic comment that people comment when you are subscribed to them.

There are waaaaay too many movies out there to watch, and hardly any time at all in the day to watch them. 4 and 8 gig .mkv rips in my opinion are way more popular than a battle between HD-DVD and Blueray standard by tenfold XD

@Paperclown Yet you took the time to comment on a video that you didn't even bother watching...makes sense. And no, there is plenty of demand for ALL forms of media, both downloadable and on physical formats. That isn't what this video is about, which you would know if you had watched it. If you're all about downloads, then obviously this subject is of no interest to you. Why even bother? Your comment is completely irrelevant to anything being discussed in the video.

your'e facts are stupid you even know what you are talking about HD DVD did not lose you fool HD DVD just sold a system to every person in the world and there dog and because of this cant sell anymore because everyone in the world bought one and Blu ray is so expensive  because like 100 people bought it in the world and because so little were sold they have to charge a lot so they make some money on there fail of a movie player HD DVD won get used to it BLU Ray only has 80 p anyway

@CanucksAreBiWinning Nothing you just said made any sense. HD-DVD has been dead for nearly 6 years. Get over it. Watch Part 7b, in which I show the actual SALES CHARTS. Blu-ray beat HD-DVD every single week the year they were both on the market. That is fact. And it's not expensive at all. It was priced appropriately based on it being new technology, and has dropped in price in response to the ever growing demand. HD-DVD was priced cheap because it was FAILING.
