Nice docking manoeuvre. Nice boat too and it sails very well.
Congrats!

The video inspires me to finish mine! It's almost done but may not hit the waves until March, after titling and registration.

@jetporter It really is a small jib, isn't it? I was remiss in congratulating you on a job well done. She's beautiful and sails very well, from what I can see. I have my video and plans sitting on the shelf for 10 years. :o( Wife put a nix to it and now at 67, I would have one heck of a time getting around on it. Plus no one in the family is interested in sailing. I think I'll change families. :l))
Did a lot of sailing when younger on "Chryslers, Cat27, and NY40. I miss it!

great boat guys. I am thinking of building one my self. canada rocks i'm from london ontario can't wait to order the plans maybe i'll post it as well
bring that jib over to the other side going down wind and go 'wing and wing'.

@pensandcalls : I always try to do that, but I find it tricky with such a small jib. I know it looks bad having it flapping like that, but the main on this boat is very large (comparatively) and the jib doesn't do much going downwind. That said, I've got a peice of wood I'm going to try making a whisker pole with next spring, to hold the jib out for "wing on wing" sailing.

We are building one right now - we're on facebook under stevenson weekender. It's a great little boat! I can't wait until we launch next year.

@laurasokolowski You'll be very pleased with it. I have been enjoying mine immensely. If you ever have any questions while building it, there is a website called "back yard boat builders" that has some helpful people, some big fat mr. know-it-alls, and everything in between.
