This is my HSC Body of work for Visual arts. It's about a girl who travels through her unconscious world, where the house symbolises the self and the rooms symbolise the different parts of her psyche. It won the Robin Anderson film award for best sound and best editing and was selected for Art express 2011.

  • What camera did you use?

  • @00Aluminium I used the Sony HDR-FX1E. It uses digital tape but now I'm using the Canon 7D which shoots really high quality footage and you have the freedom to change lenses which you can't do on the Sony Camera.

  • Wasn't this called Chez Moi or something like that

  • @Vreenek Yeah It was called Chez Moi but I changed the name to suit a festival where the letter V had to be used and kept it ever since.

  • holy crap that was an epic edit for a HSC film! did you use something else for the editing or did you just use aftereffects for the whole edit process? also really good clean greenscreen. props man :)

  • @Isaac476 Thanks man. I used After Effects for the green screen stuff and all the effects, transitions etc.. but I used Premiere pro to edit the clips together. The two programs work pretty well together but Final Cut Pro is better for splicing and cutting clips.

  • Your green screen is absolutely amazing. Kudos!!!!! I hope you got a really good mark for this :)

  • naa my artwork is a sculpture not a film

  • Thanks man. Yeah it's going to be at the Rocks which is a bit of a shame because people probably won't see it. Is your film on Youtube. If not I guess I can just go and see it at art express.

  • mad film, what gallery is it at, my artwork is in the gallery of nsw for 2011 artexpress
