Sega created an aerowings game for the ps2. They changed the name though to Aero Elite Combat Academy. Basically its the same gameplay with better graphics and more streamlined and helicopters.

However the best flight simulator for consoles imo is Energy Airforce Aimstrike for the ps2 which was only released in the PAL areas. Energy airforce rendered the whole cockpit in very high detail.
