I had a series of clips documenting my work on the cross knee, supported plank (The Lara, LOL!) I finally did let go of that upper arm! While Iwas practicing, I got bored with it a little and my inner thighs were almost raw to the point of bleeding (ha! no one told me about the skin shredding part of pole dance...), so I tried the inverted crucifix on a whim. I got the move after a few tries, at first supporting it with a hand on the ground. It was easier with the shirt off, more armpit grip that way...

There are actually multiple attempts and I will post them later because I want feedback from everybody.

I want to do the "Turn" next--you know--that thing where you bring your torso around the pole in the inverted crucifix from front to back. I tried it, sort of got it--then I realized I didn't know what the heck you're supposed to do next! Fall off? Well, that's exactly what happened--but it was nicely controlled fall from a pole cat kind of grip.

Thus I violated Veena's Cardinal role of Pole Dancing, which is never to get into a move until you know how you are going to get out of it!

Anyway, I made this little clip because Shelly teased me a little in one of her videos about my goofy foot lock in an earlier invert atempt--something I need to work on, for sure. So I watched her invert tutorial and a few others, too. Then I worked on that foot lock and wanted to wish her a Merry Christmas--INVERTED!

When I saw the "venting" video just a few minutes ago, I knew I had to get this vodeo up to add a little Christmas cheer, LOL!

So Merry Christmas, Shelly!

I can see by my own video, however, that my knees are NOT squeezing very tight. I need more grip if I'm going to "turn" round the pole. Then, what do I do next?

  • Thanks for watching!

  • hahahaha

  • Thanks, Phoenix! She does watch some of my videos now and then--but I have to drag her down to the computer sometines, LOL! We did do a hula hoop video together--from a distance--and it is still up on the channel. She's a teacher, so a litttle reluctant to show her face on a channel devoted to pole dancing. But she puts up with my craziness, so I am grateful!

  • Ahhhh you are the most accepting and open masculine man. so you ever show the wifey your new moves? I try to show my hubby but he has way more interest in the DIY network on cable hehe!!! Good work. Keep it up good man!
