Frank Gorshin was under appreciated
in his day, but MAN O MAN, he was the most talented comic and mime there
ever was. His Burt Lancaster and Richard Burton impressions were the
world's greatest! No one compares 2 U!
-
Wow! The late great Mr Gorshin had a pretty good singing voice. Quite a multi-talented chap, to say the least (actor, impressionist, singer, etc). This was a delight to listen to....thanks for sharing!

I have JIMMY and it's one of the best musicals ever. I have spoken. Three songs were published from Jimmy and I have them, too.

An actor who cuts a record and can actually sing! Who would've believed it?
-
I managed to get the soundtrack for "Jimmy" from CDuniverse, on mp3 download. Only one or two songs didn't go through, but I got the tracks I wanted.
The "Squabble Song" was just a riot! He and Anita really did sound like an old married/unmarried couple.
How in the heck did you ever meet him?
-
I didn't know he had a sister. I know that his kid brother died at the age of fifteen, after being hit by a car when Frank was just seventeen. As much as I fuss with my two brothers, I wouldn't want either one of them to go like that.

Great talent. But for a misterious reason never had the recognisition others had. I didn´t know he had a great voice to sing. As a actor and an impersonator I know he was very good. Great song because of your voice. Great Frank. Dean and Sammy Davis Jr great too.
-
Where the hell can I get the CD?
Nonesuch records doesn't have it on their website!
-
I had NO idea he could sing!
Hard to believe he had that kind of voice with all of the smoking he did.
-
He was way ahead of his time as the Riddler. He was way wacked out!
This is a lovely song, Please post the full version. Anorak!!! I know, but my ears need the last drop of that song. Thanks for posting this song on youtube.

@thevgmk1 I posted the whole song, but for some reason, the last twelve seconds were cut when I uploaded it in Youtube.

He was in a Broadway musical in 1969, "Jimmy," in which he played Jimmy Walker, the mayor of New York from the 1930's. There was an album of the show in which he sang about a half dozen songs. I have it.. It's pretty good. He was a favorite of mine too.

He was also in another musical called "Girl Crazy". There's a CD of this, released by Nonesuch Records. Apparently, "Jimmy" is not available on CD.

This is not an album, but a single record. "Never let her go" is in the side B.
