Perfect Dark - Pelagic II Stage Music in Mario Paint Composer

One of the best themes from my favorite shooter from the N64 days. This theme just oozed pure awesomeness, and it was always the music I used during multiplayer battles.

This composition was also a good lesson in ear training. The MIDI I had for this music was incorrect in several spots, especially the percussion, and I had to go back and correct several mistakes because of this. I'm not sure I got it perfect either, but it sure is a hell of a lot closer than what I had to work with. The soundfont was also tricky to put together, since there were so many instruments and octaves involved with things. The end result, though, is worth it, I think.

Oh, my... that was excellent. I have to say that Perfect Dark has some of the best music I've ever heard in a game. I still consider it to be the greatest FPS of all time.

Awesome soundfont, awesome music, awesome mpc... you just missed a few notes on the stars and marios on file 8, but it actually didn't damage the overall harmony of the music :)
