lovely no-shake video of an elephant herd - not being disturbed (good ranger!). the best is at the end when the 3 babies play under the appreciative & loving eyes of the matriach. Where was this taken? excellent

This was filmed in South Luangwa, Zambia (2004)near Mfuwe lodge.

thanks for that! I am pleased to hear of it's location. we are going there next year for 9 days in the Robin Pope camp and Norman Carr camps. They obviously have lovely family elephant groups in the Luangwa!

I enjoyed my stay in Zambia very much. We were in Kaingo, Mfuwe, Chamilandu, Bilimungwe. South Luangwa is a 5* wildlife destination. The very best were 'leopard catching warthog piglet' (see other video) and the sightning of two wild dogs. Enjoy !!
