It tells us that "love is patient" - but one of the Bible's most "romantic" passages had a very different meaning when it was written nearly 2000 years ago. More at http://www.bibledex.com/

  • @itsthatguy: It's normal in the UK and Australia to refer to Bible books as "one corinthians," "two peter," or the like

  • I am curious, but I have noticed that the theologians here refer to the number as one or two and not first or second. For example, I would say First Corinthians.

Is that an English thing or a theologian thing? I did study at a Bible College, but it was never referred as one, but as first (as in Paul's first letter to the Corinthians).

  • I'm a huge fan of the Periodic & Sixty Symbols videos, and now I'm a fan of Bibledex. You're doing a fantastic job. :)

these bible videos done as sort of a neutral history are fascinating, and easy to watch for both the believer and the heathen. :)

  • Thats really intresting topic to know about a lovely story like the song of songs.

    Thanks for uploading.
