First cell phone 1973, and they were popular for the very rich early 80's.
They were in Nightrider which is same period and I remember one of our local lords using one exactly the same in that period.

A-Team ran from 1983 to 1986 according to Wiki. First commercial cell phone was 1979. I also remember Micheal Knight using one in Knightrider from the same era. Although I admit they were a bit more clunky than the one shown in the video.
