What people don't realize about the old school is that....they weren't getting paid lol. It's not like they were getting millions of dollars, yea they had their chains and cars too like rappers have today, but they worked their asses off. They weren't getting a ton of money off the music to begin with and they were doing it outta love.
Thats why i don't see the differenece between the 50's and the Kanye's of rap today. Because all they want is the money still, so they'll do anything to get it
