I wanted to post this on May 8th to mark the turning point of a heart lifting through the ashes of pain and immersing to a state of self realization and inner strength. I played this song over and over when things ended last summer with a person that now only exists in my dreams..haunting me.. thinking it was a painful song only to realize to be able to be strong you have to not be afraid to admit you are vulnerable. So with eyes a new these lyrics, this tune no longer rips away my insides but reminds me that I am a strong person. I know who I am and what I stand for. I have hope.
