Totally off topic, but I love T'Pring's silver kitten heels. You get a glimpse of them at 0:45. I've always been drawn to her character. She just takes control of her situation and gets what she f***ing wants. It's too bad she had to hurt Spock to do it, because there was a lot of potential for her as a strong female character. =]

Strange side story... I actually ran into Lady Gaga this week in some middle of nowhere hick town in PA. I was at a funeral, and some of us went to some random bar to have drinks afterward. She walks in a bit after us. I was the only person to notice her, and I didn't make a big deal out of it.

However, it's impossible for me to conclude that Kirk and Spock were "just friends." One of the great K/S fans once said, "Not wanting the sky to be blue doesn't make it green." She went on to explain why she believes in Kirk and Spock's undying -- and very romantic -- love for each other. I'd say you take her advice.
