To be clear,Norderney was the second Radio Veronica ship. The first, was Borkum Riff.

Radio Monique broadcast from the Mi Amigo, never from the Ross Revenge.

@peterinthout Volgens mij was Radio Noordzee (samen met TV Noordzee) de eerste Nederlandse zeezender. Radio Noordzee (RNI) kwam pas in 1970, maar eerst alleen in het Duits en het Engels. En Radio Mi Amigo kwam volgens mij weer wat later.

I think Radio Noordzee (together with TV Noordzee) de first Dutch offshore radiostatio. Radio Nordsee (RNI) followed in 1970, but at the beginning just in German en English. And I think Radio Mi Amigo even later.

Indeed: for the coast of Holland there was the radioship: Noderney :transmitting Radio Veronica sinds 1960 till 31-08-1974 and the Medo II : transmitting R.N.I. 220 mtrs sinds jan. 170 till 31-08-1974 . And of course Ross Revenge with adio Caroline, Radio Monique !

I loved Radio Caroline ! This was my station. I also remember Radio North Sea International, Radio Luxemburg and there was a Dutch Ship (Veronica, I think).

The pirate stations ruled !
