Whether Mary liked the song or not, she sang it with gusto!! Great!

love it, brings back happy memories

Incredibly, this record only reached #92 in the U.S. in December 1972 (Apple 1855) as Mary's final American hit. In contrast, this track reached #2 in England. Mary married record producer Tony Visconti in 1971 and soon after abandoned stardom to become a mother (she had two). Mary did not totally give up recording, though and, as "Mary Visconti" provided backup vocals for some acts Tony worked with. They divorced in 1981. In 1976 Mary began recording again and guested on the LPs of others. .

@redomisia 2012, sorry ;D
Thumbs up if you're watching this on 2011 and find it more joyful than all other current music.

I have to revise my comment after Winehouses inevitable demise.
She can thankfully no longer be compared unfavourably to Mary or any of the numerous 60's girl vocalists who could sing & look sexy without getting out of their heads on drugs or booze.
Personally I think pq9r6v3h2x & skinnwalker13 have been snorting her ashes prior to their incoherent postings, but sadly I don't care.
I'll just continue listening to talented beautiful sober living singers.
