Most of these guys are dedicated to skateboarding. Their life is skateboarding, the rest is just some kind of a waiting room inbetween skateboarding.
And I guess some of them were tired of regular life before they started, and skateboarding became their way of feeling good. It takes something extra to be so good at what you do as these guys are, and that extra could be that they have no where else to go...but what do I know :P
