As a Bach fanatic I'm so attuned to contrapuntal music such as this that non contrapuntal music seems almost half baked & incomplete in comparison.

@implodesafely I guess he sang because he played in the cantabile style. That's why it's so ecpressive. Not mechanical but from the heart.

@FuzorDragon480 Glenn Gould always sang while he played. In fact, I believe my music teacher said they would have to tie something around his mouth during recordings so it wasn't so distracting. lol
