@jamajezzie - Pedigree breeders are very responsible in the numbers of kittens they breed and owners look after such cats. How many Maine Coons do end up in shelters? I'll bet not many and usually as a result of a change in circumstance that the owners have no control over. Un-neutered moggies and ferals are a much bigger problem.

Darth Vader lol I love the names :)

@hojima Couldn't agree with you more! I myself plan on fostering cats when I get my own home. I wish people could understand the importance of getting your pets fixed.

@DaveBC1 lol :DD

@AdharaGuzman Not really about label. I just wish people would adopt rather than paying a breeder, then donate the money to somewhere where it will actually help animals. God knows there are enough cats/dogs out there that arent getting spayed and neudered.

@hojima Well just so you know both of my cats are adopted. . And I would get a cat from anywhere; breeder, shelter, or off the street. The "label" doesn't matter to me I would love them all the same : )

@LeavenGrecco - It's funy how individual they are. Darth Vader shown in the video is a male and he likes to sit with men. He has no time for women.

They are all adorable and i hope they are all happy with their owners :)

@eviljames12 - Clearly many people disagree with you. Others have said this but many videos on YouTube are created from still pictures. I used what I had. I have uploaded many other motion videos. There's no need to be rude.

I own a Maine Coon. Bought her in the UK, and she is now almost 7 years old. She is spayed and for a female very big. She turned out bigger than her mother and weighs 12 kilo's now and is still on the skinny side... She is a typical Maine Coon, very fixed on one person and avoids fuss and noise. And she HATES to be brushed...

@castleguardian - 12kg is a BIG cat! We used to have a champion show cat who was 8kg and we thought he was big. Did you know that in Australia, where they are a pest, somebody shot a feral cat and the carcass was measured at 1.7m long, tip to tip, a world record for the domestic cat species.
