"Ingeniously constructed and propulsively paced, "Brotherhood" achieves the sweaty-palmed intensity of classic film noir..."

Jon Foster, Lou Taylor Pucci and Trevor Morgan star in a heart stopping thriller

BROTHERHOOD

Initiation begins on DVD on January 31

London, UK. 18/11/10 - Loyalties are tested to the limit when Brotherhood arrives on DVD on January 31, courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Winner of the Audience Award at both the SXSW and Dallas International Film Festivals, Director Will Canon's acclaimed thriller hurls us into the murky world of a gang initiation, where group of young men are forced to carry out dangerous tasks to prove their loyalty to an exclusive society. A botched robbery is the catalyst for a catastrophic series of events that forces student Adam Buckley (Trevor Morgan; The Patriot, Jurassic Park III) to make a stand and try to save a friend before he slowly bleeds to death.

Brotherhood will be available on DVD for RRP £15.99.

Synopsis:
When a gang initiation goes horribly wrong, a group of young men must try and survive the night from hell in this tensely gripping thriller. Told that they must commit an armed robbery before being allowed to join an elite 'Brotherhood', one young student ends up involved in a fire fight. Slowly bleeding to death and with the police closing in, his friends take desperate steps to cover their tracks. With every step, they are drawn further into a darker and more violent world where right and wrong cease to have any meaning. As the hours pass, their methods of suppressing the truth become more and more brutal. Disaster beckons at every turn but with the promise of parties where anything goes and nothing is forbidden, the only question is...how bad do you want in?

Brotherhood has a run time of 77 minutes and is rated 18
