Van James - Necronomicon (ft. Skelly - Original Composition)

This is an instrumental track that a friend and I wrote in high school. I decided to record it and see what you guys think. Though it is bereft of vocals, I think the two guitars fill out the sound quite nicely. This was written back when I was actually in a hard rock band and we wanted to put a different take on one of our fan favourites. The original is longer, faster, and harder (that's what she said). Anyway, I have always loved the counter melodies, time signature changing, and trading riffs in this acoustic rendition. P.S. The background during the intro is a pencil sketch I did in high school (All Rights Reserved). It is a single eye with two irises and pupils; I suppose you could call it my own take on the ability to see both sides of a situation.
