Sabayon is the distro that I settled on as well, though I am downloading FreeBSD and PC-BSD to give them a whirl (I know, those aren't Linux, but they're all Unix-Like).

I would recommend Linux Mint. Less settings for pros, more pre-installed codecs. Also it has a good support for people who are new to Linux (like all they know about computers is how to click the mouse)

Sorry but i also use ubuntu right now. But there is some problem with statement. he hates Microsoft because of their money only desire and then long live UNIX. So i just wanted to say what is the difference between Windows and UNIX. if you want me to say also long live free software(especially Mysql and Apache).
