This video's star is Norman "Chubby" Chaney, a featured player in film producer Hal Roach's "Our Gang"/("Little Rascals") comedy shorts in the late '20s/early '30s. This video features clips from most of Chubby's film appearances. Spike Jones (and his City Slickers) and The Andrews Sisters "lend" their voices here and there as well as do the instruments of the talented players of the Beau Hunks Orchestra.

This video was brewed in a humorous spirit, with a twist of "wink." Charge me with mischief combined with a fondness for Chubbs-—I am guilty. Accuse me not of malice or insensitivity for neither charge will stick.
