1998 Summer Special Musical Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Shin - Densetsu Kourin BEGINNING OF THE NEW LEGEND

This musical follows the plot of Eien Densetsu and Yume Senshi musicals but this time Galaxia revives the Amazon Trio to do Queen Beryl's dirty work. Elements from both musicals are "borrowed", producing a not so great musical. First musical of the talented second stage Moon, Hara Fumina, the longest running Chibi Usa, Gunji Ayano, the most popular Uranus, Takagi Nao and Kawasaki Miki, a popular vilainness plays a Nightmare. Nishina Yuri reprises her role as Queen Beryl, Ono Hikari reprises hers as Hawkseye and Mochizuki Yuuta returns to play King Endymion. Endou Ado plays Dark Moon. Oddly enough, the rest of the Senshi cast left/were not casted after this musical. Whether it was because of the casting or lack of originality, Shin Densetsu Kourin lacked the heart and soul that the previous musicals had. I didn't like this one, but maybe you will. It's no wonder they replaced the director this one was going senile I mean really where does Chibi-chibi fit in this song. I like Hironari a lot more than this guy and the musical just started. He better get better as I watch. Fumina's voice is awesome and Yuuta Endymion rocks but god Yume Senshi Ai Eien Ni Kaiteiban's version of Double Moonlight Romance is far superior to this. Shadow on My Sweet Memories...sweet song....so Fumina had a duet with both her Mamorus.

why is King Endymion in this musical, much as i love Yuuta (M) why isn't the other tuxedo kamen in this more?

if they had kept up with the manga version of chibi-chibi it would make more sense seeing as she is really Sailor Cosmos ans Sailor Cosmos is really Usagi, meaning that basically chibi-chibi is a younger form of Sailor Moon, but they kept the anime version where she's Galaxia's Star Seed.

Whoever decided Double Moonlight Romance was a good song for this opening and then chose who would sing it, obviously forgot that it's a LOVE SONG and he has Tuxedo Kamen singing it to Chibi-Chibi? WTF! Not only is she not Usagi, she's jailbait!
