International Beauty Show New York Makes Over Manhattan
More than 61,000 beauty professionals in attendance; up from previous year

NEW YORK, NY—The International Beauty Show New York, experienced packed aisles and classrooms when more than 61,000 passionate and energetic professionals looking to advance their skills, see the latest and greatest in beauty and mingle with some of the top talent in the industry descended on the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Haircare, nailcare, tools, furniture, apparel and business technology were represented among the almost 500 exhibiting companies showcasing the newest and hottest looks and trends.

Energy Abounds
"This year's IBS and IECSC New York very much mirror the current state of the professional beauty industry -- resilient, innovative, optimistic about the future --
and most importantly, growing, remarked Dana Lupton, vice president, beauty and spa groups at Questex Media Group LLC. "Attendance was up and both of our exhibit floors sold out. Education, from classrooms and workshops to our International Main Stage was clearly a big hit with attendees this year. The show floor aisles were packed during peak hours and attendee buying was up according to leading brands on the floor. We are thrilled with the results and overwhelming positive reaction."
