Awesome how to video. I just have a couple of couple. What is the size of the arch or hole punch? Did u notice any performance difference after shimming ur engine?

Great video, If your in the UK a guy called "Pulsar bob" (gti-r-us. co . uk) will punch the shims out for you in what ever size, he has a very fine tool for this..

This is awsome!!!!! i tried it on mine since i was not able to get nissan to locate this part anymore and if a dealer had it was like 20 bucks each one. GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!! WORKES great on mine also!!!

Well .. The hole punched I used was a 5.5mm punch its a strike punch using a hammer .. That seemed to create the exact perfect size for going under the shim.. As for performance !! it will create a little more lift when its correctly sized as opposed to loose .. Big problem if its too loose it will toss off the rocker and brake your shims and the rocker arms and may get stuck holding a valve open where the piston will smack and destroy the motor .. Bending valves or breaking a piston sometimes.
