@MrKennyParks Tony and I went to the same High School...Springfield Gardens in Queens. I remember him very well. Sad that he passed at such a young age...had so much talent and so much to offer.

@JColeM7785 This Tony Thompson did pass away in 2003. Tony Thompson from the 90s r&b group Hi-Five is the one that passed away in 2007.

Tony was one of my earliest influences. I met Tony when I first moved to NYC. Later when I got a job at the Limelight, he and Nile used to come in quite a bit. Tony never forgot me and always took time out to talk about music and invited me down to Power Station Studios a few times. I still have the number he wrote down for me to get in touch with him - those were some good days.
