Thank you soooooo much. I took your advice and practiced. I even sand papered my shoes. By implementing your advice I won a costume contest! I won scariest consume! Everyone who voted for me said that when I walked it was the creepiest thing they ever saw. One even said "It's scary enough seeing the nurse coming at you in the game but in person it's even worse". so, sorry for rambling.... Thank You!

tip about the twitiching subject:Try making it a slow,mechanical twitch but dont make it exactly like that or it'll look not really unatural but plain f***** up and will not look good.

good tutorial....i think describing it as un-natural is the best way to phrase it. I did this character for a haunted house this year and it was six-weeks of discomfort....but the costume worked. Also, the shoes...you are dead on about that....cosplay has to be head to toe....

i'm wearing combat boots with my cosplay cause i couldn't find cheap white heals, and i think all the posing would be easier in them. . . :P

Okay, I don't want to sound rude, but when it comes to watching the movie to look at how the nurses walk, don't listen to nostalgiacosplay. Watch scenes from the Silent Hill games. They're better, and the original. If you go to a con, people will be expecting a SH nurse from the game, not the movie (which was a complete insult to the games). Not to mention, since you actually have to fight the nurses in the games, you see more of them.

@Mishie666 Make two braids in your hair. Wrap one braid around the top of your head and bobby pin it, then do the other braid the same way around the back and pin. Do NOT use hair ties- only bobby pins. You'll need a lot of them.
