I think the point was to add her own spin on it, like the way she purposefully struggles a lot with the "I"s when she's doing the verse...it's very much like the idiosyncracies within her own compositions...I think she has an incredibly original and significant style of her own...and she's really fucking cute and hot at the same time...genius is sexy, in her case, at least...
