I combined my old simmons kit triggering reason with a new roland kit et voila. seeing is believing. Proof is in the pudding.

Watch ur left hand dude, you seem to have your finger up on the stick. bad habit, will really hurt your drumming when you translate back to a real kit.

@Drumtome I no longer use this grip I play mostly trad. no days. What I did was use the extended index finger for a bit more control. Bad grip any way you look at, however in those days it was much more about the groove than technical, like the really good R&B drummer, its all about the feel, they play a bit behind the beat, which "technically" is bad etc. Since then I have been trying to merge the two.
