I bet those who paid the high price for these bot con exclusive seekers must bue mighty pissed to see they released them in classics/generation brand LOLLL
-
@transformerskid2That`s right! Stupid Hasbro releases ugly repaints (the are exceptions too like Acid Storm) but the correct ones are released only for some conventions or stores. Thanks to Gosh Hasbro will re-release this year Thrust for the Universe3.0 (Generations) line.

i want a classic dirge but the sites i wolud buy sold out of the henki one and have this for 200.00 +!!!
-
@transformerskid2 Well, Thrust is getting a retail release. Probably Dirge will as well. I think they put Thrust and Dirge in the set to make sure it sold. They have greater recognition value than Alpha Trion and Weirdwolf, and WAY more than Bugbite. Bugbite was a slagging GO-BOT.

@MrLegoJoe Thrust's getting a retail release this year. If I ever end up picking up this guy, though, I'm either kitbashing him or repurposing him as an OC.
-
@QtLeigh32 I'd never go for this version unless I could get him for $5 or under. I'd rather get the Takara version. This version is a half-assed job that has Dirge's deco but Ramjet's wings.
-
same here i have universe ramjet and i want dirge and thrust! :(

its more starscream clones
I disagree about kitbashing an exclusive. Should you wish to sell it, you might get people taking out a new mortgage for it. Once you've got the exclusives, you've got the power.
Power is good.
I know I'd like to get the Classics Dirge. I feel the Henkei version, while commercially viable (To an extent), doesn't look all that great in comparison, despite the wing retool.

Oh, It would be a simple swap, I wouldn't damage the figure in the least, and could reassemble it exactly as it was if I decide to sell it. What I plan to do simply involves a couple of screws and popping parts on/off. I won't mod the figure itself at all.
