Me, my dad and Hamlet the dog take to the mountains. This was the first backpacking trip I'd been on in almost 7 years.

Lots of majestic rock formations, tall pine trees, and perfect blue sky weather. Come along with us 9400 feet up in the Sierra's as we hike in! Part 1.

@prcdpnknova Hey thanks for the comment! This trail is in the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness area in the Sierra's. I'm not sure what the name of the trail is, but the lake we ended up staying at is called Swede Lake. Several lakes are connected by the same trail and it's an awesome area!
