Witness says Robin Bain had incestuous relationship with daughter Laniet..
.The jury in the Bain murder trial's has begun to hear evidence on claims that Robin Bain was having an incestuous relationship with one of his daughters.

Much has been heard about the allegations, but this is the first time it's been heard in evidence.

Stephen Cousins employed Laniet Bain on a casual basis in 1993.

He said she told him her father had been having sex with her since she was a child living in Papua New Guinea.

Cousins said he offered to accompany her to the police station, but she declined, saying she was going to go in the next few days.

The defence claims Laniet was about to tell her family about the incest, exposing her father and that was the motive for him to kill his family, then commit suicide.

The court also heard from a number of David Bain's friends and supporters on Tuesday, who described him as warm, kind, outgoing and mature and with the potential to be an international opera singer.
