On Wednesday November 8th, a cargo ship hit the Bay Bridge and spilled 58,000 gallons of oil into the bay.
After the recent oil spill, I went to Ocean Beach on the following Tuesday to see the aftermath. The beach looked pretty clean and it was a warm, sunny day, despite the ecological tragedy. It sounds like a lot of the damage could have been averted if they had acted to clean up the spill sooner. Empty green waves like these should serve to remind us how great a gift we are given to live next to the ocean, and that we all need to do our part to protect it.

I care. So do a lot of other people. If I didn't think it was important I wouldn't have made the video. Get real, this is the health of the planet we are talking about, if the planet gets sick then what the hell do you think is going to happen to us? Wake up.
