Are Republicans committing TREASON as they attemp to thwart all government activity?

Almost a year after the new president has took office we still have no Surgeon General as swine flu picks up. And this is just to protect insurance companies? What is wrong with the republicans....this scorched earth I don't want anyone to win or lead if I lose is absolutely unacceptable. Perhaps we are entering a phase that requires a new amendment or rule that says if opposition party does not make up it's mind..yes or no and hold a vote on cabinet confimations....the nominee is automatically affirmed after a month? Two Months? How long should we put the nations business on hold for the opposition? I have gotten tons of responses from all sides many pointed and mad and bitter but not one person said we should fix the problem aka make cabinet confirmation appointments a 30-60 day event that ends in automatic confirmation if the opposition(in this case the republicans) can't either SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT!.
Delaying government appointment the blaming failed government is hypocritical...but all to often the republican mantra now that they are SORE LOSERS!

Yes i agree.  Corporations should not have political power or access other than the individual persons within. Those individuals should be free to organize political groups that are publicly associated to them but it should draw on those individuals financial resources and capital. Despite previous ruling CORPORATIONS ARE NOT PEOPLE TOO! They are entities to be regulated and for the people to assure they OBEY the LAWs of our land.

As I said, what goes around comes around. Tbh I don't truly care for politics because it's redundant in essence. We live in a "free democracy", but realistically only two parties have a chance at the presidency on any given election year. And as far as swine flu goes, give me a break. I still haven't heard a credible or logical explanation on how human, pig, and bird flu combined to make swine flu, not to mention how closely it resembles a flu from half a century ago the gov't has stored away
