@billymp79 Have you heard of Local 793 ? Just wondering that''s all I'm in that union and in this video I was shocked I've never seen a packer with a GPS
I'm a Local 150 Operator out out of Chicago looking for work, hows the work picture looking out there in Local 3, and is there anyway I can get some work out there?
The 657G's are very good scrapers but they pale compared to Caterpillar's 666B, widely regarded as the best scraper ever made. Although Caterpillar (sadly) discontinued the 666B in 1979, a few 666B's still exist in running condition. Perhaps some 666B's will be restored to like-new condition and be displayed in museums or reused in construction projects, mines, oil sands, & quarries. I would love to see videos of Caterpillar 666B scrapers in action.
Call me at 504-256-6562. My name is David wedge and I am hiring experienced and non experienced crane operators at top dollar with top benefits. Paid training provided. $28.00 plus per hour right now! Nothing to lose, all expenses covered and I will pay you a minimum of $28.00 per hour just to come out and see if the positions are right for you. No prior experience needed.
Awesome vid, that outfit knows what they are doing. I'd like to see the slopeboard on the D9 working, haven't seen one north of the border, but I am sure they are around. Looked like a 16 grader, there is an outfit in Calgary AB called Kidco that is using a 24H for this type of work now. The 57's looked like they were doing alright, but I don't know how to judge their skill based on dumping a few loads, must be nice that some who comment can....
Simply Awesome!! love hearing those 657's running - where does granite have most of their jobs in the bay area? - they use to have their yard here off monterey rd. - i'm more familiar with DeSilva Gates & Independent const.
This is a Granite job they know what they are doing! Im subcontracting for Teichert in Lincoln but use to live in San Mateo and worked for the Woodside Fire Dept. Now have 4 Water trucks and enjoying retirement. Where exatly is this? Ocean side of 84, downhill. Great footage!!!! Mike
