Making A Website - Part 1

In this tutorial, I will show you how to combine all the things we have been going over in the HTML & CSS series to make a website, based on the layout of mine. *Note : Table layouts aren't generally used when text is involved only, but more when the website comprises of images (for instance, rounded corners). does the css style sheet have to be published or just saved onto ur pc

Well that depends. If your PC is the host, then just save it in the htdocs directory. Otherwise, yes, the style sheet must be uploaded (published) to have an effect.

at 8:05 when u said the boarder isnt working its working but u made the color of it white and the background of the page was white

My bad xD. Oh well, in the end I wanted the whole page to be white (unless told otherwise) on the black background, so it doesn't really matter :P

For putting the height of the header, could you put auto? Or is that not the coed for making the div 'grow' with the amount of text you put in it?

If not, could you please tell em?

when i tried doing this my box wasn't centered?? how did you make yours to be in the center?

you have to use the attribute border-color to set, well, you know...

and I tend to prefer the groove border
