Sounds like a good guy, but I must disagree. I believe that I should, in a free society, be responsible for my own life. Slots are a freedom issue. If I want to drink a beer (I sometimes do), smoke a joing (I never do), whatever so long as I do not endanger or interfere with the freedom of another I should be able to do so. In other words, my personal morality is exactly that...personal.

That right there was a home run. Great job dad. I know I'm partial to you but I'm also partial to truth, morality and the home.

Jerry, I agree with you to a certain extent but the problem with the slots is that they don't just impact the individual making the decision to play. Slots are the most addictive form of gambling there is and problem gambling ends up impacting the player's family and society as a whole. And one of the big problems with this particular proposal is that it would make our state government beholden to the gambling industry for a key source of revenue which would certainly not be good for our state.
