Yard and Gardens, out buildings made of recycled barn wood and local poplar and cedar

This is a short video of our back yard, showing the gardens and pond we built this year. There are strawberry beds on the south side of the pond and waterfall. Iris beds and miniature iris along with lilies in the center of the half round walkway. Our herb garden is just outside the back door, we have dill, sage, time, rosemary, parsley, mints both peppermint and spearmint, bee balm, and others. Our house was built in 1803 and is on the national historical register. An old outhouse that was built by the WPA still stands in the back yard. All our out buildings were built with locally grown and milled Poplar and recycled windows, hand made doors. Much of the wood was recycled from old barns.
