Thank you. I loved your hijab story as well. I was very touched by your accounts of being bullied. You're very strong, alhamdulillah!

  • Great and liberating .. you know what .. as a londoner I have a feeling that I'm no stranger to you .. I just hope that one of your moroccan sisters in your neighberhood invites you for a morrocan cup of mint tea .. thanks.

  • Wow....I loved your video. And yes, you are so right that when you tell people that you are Jamaican that it opens up basically like a whole new conversation/questions on that alone. Like this one right here " I didn't know that there were Muslims in Jamaica". or my personal favorite " I didn't know Jamaicans were allowed to wear that scarf on their heads." Allowed? Really?

  • Masha'Allah I really enjoyed your story. LOL and I can totally relate to the where are you from question. I was born and raised in Canada, parents are from Barbados, now live in US..my response is usually I'm from "Here". I personally don't have time to get into logistics.

  • Thanks for sharing your hijab story :)

Please put it as a video response to my original which you will find on my YT channel so all the tags are in one place!

    Thanks

    xoxo

  • i'm tired of that question too, im from usa :)
