Hey look who's come to primetime television kids! Yep, it's your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! Chapter 7 in my Superhero Film series takes a look at the 1977 television pilot starring Nicholas Hammond, that kicked off the wall crawlers TV series.
i used to ride my big wheel around with a make shift spider-man outfit that included a red skimask after watching this on tv. that was around 1982. god, how i loved this show.
@Th3Strategist In the original comic books, Parker made a webashooter in his lab...the whole deal about his web being organically made was an INVENTION from the Sam Raimi´s flicks.
Believe it or not, Bill Bixby is said to have approached Nicholas Hammond with an idea of doing a Spider-Man/Hulk crossover telefilm a few years after both shows ended (1984 to be exact). Spidey is said to have worn the black costume.
Loving your channel. Thanks for your insight.

The stunt work done by Fred Waugh is still impressive, after all these years.

@Fanfilmmaker97 bixby died in 1993, he was the producer of blossom at the time so i doubt it was due to his death.
