Just another cover by me. Pay no attention to the lyrical massacre going on in front of you. I just learned the song this morning and still don't know the words. Ha ha. Pathetic. I know.

Oh. And I switched up the chord progression to make it sound better. Maybe the chords I learned were wrong to begin with but this sounds pretty good to me. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

  • way too fast.

  • Nope. It's right on time. Apparently you've never heard Louder Alexis' version of The Quiet Things before.

  • well the timing is the least of the problems here. the tone sucks!

  • Don't you have wrists to cut?

    It's a cover. It's on a webcam. It's in a bathroom. Where's your music? Precisely.

    Peace.

  • My music is on myspace. It is my own original music.

  • Maybe you could back that up with a link? Also, I'm the lead singer/screamer in multiple bands. I only do acoustic covers, and only a few and far between.

  • I think, Yes ppl arent gona do everything 100%, but at least he knows how to play a guitar..i wish i cud play like that

  • I liked this rendition, what is your strumming pattern if I may ask?

  • I hate it when people leave unhelpful comments like "way too fast" on other people's videos, but what i hate more is when the person who the comment is directed towards attacks the other person for having an opinion. Yes his version is faster, its a cover-deal with it.

However, to the dude who posted this video, you ASKED people to tell you what they think, so cool your nuts. hopefully they're already cooled because that little conflict was like 2 months ago.

But yeah, not a bad video.

  • I've never heard Louder Alexis' version so i can't say if its close or not but i think you did a great job. The version you played (be it right or wrong idc) seems to flow a lot smoother for a solo acoustic act. The original song is a lot to spit out when it comes to the chorus and usually sounds like crap when one person tries to cover it. Great job man. Keep up the good work.

  • now that you're done rockin', you should eat a burger or somthin'.

    skinny boy.
