@Totofucker With that I agree, they have interesting ideas, but there are chamber groups - living and past - that had similar ideas and expressed them in a much more complete way, something that allowed them to go really deep and make their music a statement wordy of praise in popular music. I think that the most important thing isn't the idea itself, if not the way it's expressed and it seems to me that they fail to make their expression as deep as it can be. "Not what one expects".
@blacespace Well, after like a week of listening to their music, I probably get your point... Their music isn't simply arranged perfectly and sometimes they really tend to "steal from themselves". But anyway, I think that this band brings really lot of ideas, spoken about their music such as sound etc.
@Totofucker No, I'm not, but only if the pieces are composed by the likes of Stravinsky, Bártok and Reich or deep admirers of their work… The compasses are not the problem if not the way they're used. They - Aranis - just copy and paste from one song to another, the rhythmic sessions that is, and it gets exhausting. Not what one expects from a band that shares a high status in popular music.
All their songs either have moments or are in 5/4-5/8! It gets tiresome after the third time you hear the same melody and rhythmic section in another scale. I'll stick with Zero.

@blacespace Aren't you tired of listening to literally thousands of pieces in 4/4?
