The present king of France has no memory. When you did not exist, you had no memory. Therefore the word amnesia has no meaning. We cannot forgive & forget a crime the present king of France has committed. We cannot forgive & forget a crime you committed when you did not exist. Therefore the word amnesty has no meaning.

i'm sorry but everyone is not born an atheist. a baby is too young to know what religion or what atheism is. It is innacurate to say that everyone is born an atheist. That's like saying animals are atheists. I agree that they don't pray or attend religious services however how do you really know what an animal is thinking and what they believe? you don't. so let's end this stupid debate already.

Correct and I never said it was. I said nonbelief is not a sensible term, NON is a set theory term that indicates a complement set and belief is not a set. Nonbelief is utter nonsense.

@gklr @gklr Ok, what if I take for example, my couch. My couch cannot have a belief in anything, but according to you it cannot lack belief either.

So if i said I lack a nose ring, I am saying a nose ring on my face does not exist. I call this state of lacking a nose ring A-Nasalring. A-Nasalring is a word given to describe the non existence of my nose ring, so A-Nasalring doesn't exist, because it is a word given to something that isn't existing. Nonexistence is semantic nonsense. NON is a set theory term that refers to a complement set and existence is not a set.

Atheism is not as you suggest, the category of nonexistent belief in god. It is the belief there is no god.

A lack of belief, a lack of anything... does not exist. No such thing.

There is something very wrong with the Christian church today. I believe there is a big difference between religion and spirituality. Being a solid Christian, I do not consider myself religious. unfortunately, some 60%-70% of Christians have lost their way. Your faith and yours alone is between you and God, and God wants you to pursue your hearts desires the way you want.
