Tokyo Marui MP5A5 High Cycle (HC)

Recieved this today, Testing fitted with a 9.6 mini battery and it generated around 32 bbs a second. There a few hicups in the vidio such as the hop was on full! so i dread to think what the shooting has done to it but thats an easy fix. Thats why such a low fps reading with the hop on as normal it runs at around 260fps. The magazines arnt running great as i only currently have hicaps and they miss fead the odd bb so the BPS may even be higher!

I plan to use it with a 7.4v Lipo which i have also tested it with and its firing at around 29 bbs a second. Currently shown with my Surefire Weaponlight.

Hi mate because of the ROF i did get the odd bb dropping out. But i did have the hop completely off wich would of help cause this. Havent tested the Range yet as im waiting for my next skirmish on the 27/28th of this month. Hopefull i will have some gun cam action by then ;)

can you change the spring for higher fps, say about 300fps. im planning to buy this gun but the only thing im concerning about is that the gearbox might crack if i use 9.6v battery

Even with a 9.6 this gun will be hitting 260 fps it is just the hop up that is crappin the fps out!

you dropped the spring customed your gear box and u 9.6 volt. dropping the spring down to what it look like an m60 would definetly up ur rof. thts y u got so fps

@mrpoopdaddy Maybe its weak, but it outranges every Jing Gong, DBoys, or Echo1 gun, that fires 380+ FPS...

@mrpoopdaddy i dont think its gay if you just use it for cqb games, but when i play airsoft it will be with a few friends in the woods, we will have no rules except to have high FPS and cause the most pain. then for my needs it is gay. but i would get it just for the ROF, looks, and to screw around with.

I take it a 9.6v fits in that gun stock, or is the flashlight handguard a little bigger than the original?

@tkcwu fps hardly means anything. tokyo marui are probably some of the best AEGs out there and the majority of them only shoot around 280
