I use the camera of my phone to zoom menus and other smaller prints from time to time. I use a Motorola Karma. I am liking the versatility of the IPhone and Android devices. I just have not taken the plunge. ..Yet.

@auroranebulosa That's cool. Since I got mine so early, there weren't nearly as many apps as there are now. I have a Blackberry right now (yay buttons lol), but am thinking of getting a Droid Incredible.

I had gotten mine at Target which has a really good return policy. So yeah, in my opinion, the only reason to get a Touch is if you specifically want the apps. Too bad the Touch doesn't have a camera...the iPhone with a cam would make a great portable zooming device.

Enjoyed this a lot. Thank you.

MK, so, I just realized I had my Twitter sound that was going off in the background during this portion of the episode. Doh!

Thanks for answering my question :D. If you do get an iPod touch I think it would make a great addition to your series. I owned an iPod Touch back when they first came out and didn't like it. I found, for a music player it wasn't very good specifically for the lack of tactile feel (I like to change songs while in my pocket). So I ended up getting a Nano for music. I have to wonder too if 3rd party apps actually use VoiceOver well. Sounds like an opt-in for devs, which usually = fail =/

@omgitstotallyawesome Having talked to other blind folks who use hte Touch, it would seem that most (if not all) apps work with VoiceOver, though I could be wrong.
