well, as just said by metaljam1 malmsteen created neoclassical metal.... so becker just can't compete... (great guitarist too, but malmsteen it's the genius that created this stuff!)

For all you little fuckers out there that are barely older sperm, Yngwie is one-of-a-kind and the originator of neo-classical Meavy Metal, which you obviously know NOTHING about. So you keep sniffing your friends testicals and leave the Metal to the big boys. I know I put some 'big' words in here. If you can't read them, get someone older to read them for you. Someone who went to school when reading was actually taught to the students.

Becker was waaayy more harmonically diverse than Malmsteen in my opinion. There is a sort of un-quantifiable playfulness with Becker's work, and with Malmsteen, it's balls to the wall. ALL THE TIME. Both are peerlessly awesome though.

man i just wish Jason Becker was still playin you know? he might have pulled sumthin off like this too, no disrespect to Yngwie at all i love the guy and he's a master at wut he does (i own every album of his lol) but ive always felt that Becker was the best neo-classical guitarist by-far, wut do u guys think? Becker or Malmsteen? im curious to see wut u guys think :)

Yngwie is awesome. I bet modern composers take this as a mockery of contemporary composition though.
