@AeroSharkTech : Sir, you are right. Actually it is just a drill to show, that it is not natural, to keep the firearms vertical, if the arm reaches out further. So we do have people turn it nearly horizontal, and then work their way back to a position, that would be ok. And as for the rest and what this is for...just what you said. Thank you for watching. @Igoryok1990 Of course, which is why every military and law enforcement agency in the world shoot's their "guns" sideways. NOT. It's actually a great way to miss the target completely. He stepped sideways as a means of making his cross section smaller to avoid being shot while he drew his own weapon. After firing a few suppressive shots of his own, he would then immediately take the correct stance to not only be more stable, but to increase his accuracy and finish off the target.

@splatuality: How about having trained (and still do) under various instructors and having their permission and endorsement to teach? Than think analyze and teach your variations together with it. Also learn at seminars on the side, too. Might not seem the common way in the Internet but for some is a possibility. Sigh....
