Garzel (sp?) has formidable stats but still falls to a flurry of sacred swords - except Runan's (go figure). Game set match, you malevolent bastard. He does try to work some elixir nonsense out before he dissolves into the light, but it's completely fated to backfire.
Neverending Dream is actually quite tolerable and dignified for a pop ballad, if you ask me. Not nearly as cloying or stupidly written as, say........-Beauty and the Beast- (from the godawful Disney cartoon of the same title that I would hope even the FRENCH consider themselves far above). No, no, this is far more pleasant and genuinely melancholy in actuality, like the Princess Mononoke credits.
