DC Protest: Mid-Atlantic Carpenters Against JP Construction, March 11 2011

Members of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters walked a picket line outside a construction site of JP Construction, Inc. on March 11, 2011. The signs voice their complaint: STOP Lowering Area Standards for Carpenters and JP Construction, Inc. Does Not Pay Area Standard Wages and Benefits. The ruckus they raised in favor of union labor could be heard from the White House, which is right across the street from the scene at New York Avenue and 15th Street NW.
